During Halloween, the most revered of ALL holidays, Six Flags over Texas is giving away fast passes to anyone that will eat a Madagascar hissing cockroach. They are doing this because everything is bigger in Texas (these are pretty big cockroaches) AND because these particular cockroaches are considered to be a delicacy in the third world.

I may also be considering this for part of our Halloween party as well but that is TBD.

This is a really cool pic of camels from above. The camels are actually the white slivers and the black images of camels are their shadows in the late afternoon sun. If you don't believe me, here is a link to the snopes.com article that explains it.
