If you are into photography at all, you will undoubtedly be aware that taking pictures in public places will often get you in trouble with local security guards. Union Station, a BEAUTIFUL site, is a hotbed of rent-a-cops chasing amateur photographers and threatening to call the police on them for snapping photos.

Fox 5 in DC decided to do an investigation and contacted both the owner of Union Station and Amtrak. While LaSalle Partners, the owners of Union Station, refused comment, Amtrak graciously offered to do an on-air interview at Union Station to state that, "Yes, photography is permitted." Unfortunately the interview was interrupted by a security guard who told them they had to leave.
