The Boston Globe website published an article/op-ed by Derrick Z. Jackson in which he pointed out the sexism rife in Boy Scouts. While the Boy Scouts offer leadership training, outdoors exercise and teamwork skills to boys, they shun girls. Perhaps someone should start an organization in which GIRLS are trained as SCOUTS.
